Modern Engineering and Construction Co. Pty Ltd is a family owned company based in Walla Walla, NSW Australia. The company was founded at its present site in 1953 and is now owned and managed by second generation family members.

Over the last years the company has developed the engineering skill and systems to supply a range of bulk solids storage silos for most applications. The company prides itself in supplying storage solutions for Australian and International clients.

The company's factory covers approximately 14,000 square metres on its 4.2 hectare site. Using the latest in manufacturing and design facilities, the company manufactures a full range of silos for grain, fertilizer, stock feeds, industrial powders, plastics and mineral products.

NEW Grain Aeration Controller

After more than 7 years of development by James Darby and his team at the CSIRO, and almost two and a half years of commercialisation by Industrial Automation of Perth, the new Adaptive Discounting Controller is here.

For those not familiar with grain aeration, there are 3 different types of aeration: cooling, drying and maintenance. To date this has never been combined in the one controller but the ADC controller has changed all that. MEC Crane Hire
Modern Engineering have two mobile hydraulic cranes. A KATO 80 tonne and a DEMAG 200 tonne crane are available for hire in Southern NSW and North Eastern Victorian areas
